It's a great place for Japanese takeout. My husband and I have been going there almost every week for the last several years and we're very predictable in ordering the same thing. We love the tempura orders and the dynamite roll. Fresh food, fast for takeout, just call ahead, in 10 min you pick up your order.

It tastes so good! The food there is incredibly cheap. My friends and I go there all the time! Everytime I go there, i come out of the restaurant happy. Although it is usually packed in there, it is SO worth waiting. I always call #11 on the sushi luch list. It is even called sushi lunch! I love it because even though it doesnt look filling, it is!

Rolls are way too big and not evenly cut. Made 2 orders for 2 people (1 vegetarian) and they put on the same tray. Little description in the menu. I ordered a yellow tail maki but not sure what it is that they gave me. Doesnt even look like fish. For those who think this place is good, you need to get out more. Not Recommend at all.

One of the best deals going for fresh made to order sushi and sashimi.
Lots of lovely appetizers, pleasant service and if you pay cash, you pay less!
Highly recommend niji's!

My husband and I have been going here for over 7 years and we still love it. We went before we had kids and now we bring our two kids with us...the food is delicious and the price can't be beat plus the service is very nice. We've brought many of our friends here as well as they like it, too. The extra dishes are wonderful. Highly recommended.

i love this japanese restaurant although they are Koreans.I like the service very friendly the food is authentic japanese,that's why when i moved to chicago i missed this restaurant so dearly.

i tried this restaurant once and i liked it a lot. my friends and i couldnt finish everything on the boat... very fresh! service was eeexxceeellleeennnt!! everyone was so friendly! i will go again for sure!

The food is great value and the service is usually super fast. Plus you get lots of bite sized appetizers for free. Only downside is that the food is a bit bland, but it's decent.

Highly recommended. It is almost impossible to find good Japanese food outside of downtown Toronto and Niji can compete with the best of them. The food is excellent and fresh and the prices are cheaper than the bad Japanese restaurants. Win win. Service is also very good and friendly. I have been going to Niji regularly over the past two years and recommend it to my friends.

I tried the love boat and it is definitely worth the price. Busy on Friday evenings and weekends, but the wait is not long. There is also a small back area for larger groups.

This is the best sushi place in Toronto. The love boat is the best deal for two - you may not even be able to finish it. There are starters, a huge boat with a variety of sushi and sashmi, tempura, and beef bolugi. The best part is, if you pay cash there is no tax on all orders (13% discount)! My family and I have been going to this reataurant since it opened and the prices have NEVER changed...definitely a must try if you are in the area.
