ICook Buffet, located at Warden & Steeles, share the same plaza as T&T Market, has the best Dim Sum in Toronto. From what I have tasted so far, ICook Buffet is just wonderfully delicious! All the dim sum prices are the same, $2.28 weekdays & $ 2.58 on weekend. With the attitude their serves provide and the yummy food they have, man, you guys have definetly to try this amazing restaurant!!!!

Went there on Friday night and we didn't have to wait to long for a table, but it was only for two. Like the restaurant and cleanliness aspect compared to other hot pot places. Also, the self serve food area, however the long wait for beef was upsetting - once it came out, it disappeared.

Just went there for dinner...wanted to try a hot pot place like that.
Like: the individual hot pot and the self serve hot pot choices(thus icook buffet).
Dislike: a large bill(seriously for 2 people it was a bit much considering it is not a fine dining restaurant)!!!
Lack of servers, forget friendly ones

Hostess needs to improve her communication and peoples skills. Food was alrite - nothing special. I had to move 3 times since the burners weren't working. Someone also must have lost a chunk of hair since I saw it on the floor beside our table.
Probably a 'once every 6 months' type of restaurant.

Place isn't thaaat bad. Typical chinese restaurant, meaning you have to call the servers if you want their attention.
Dim Sum is alright. Also, its not $1 for tea, its $1 for unlimited drinks, which is selfserved at the back.

Likes: individual hot pot style, lots of sauce choices, chrysanthemum drink (even though it's watered down)
Price is a bit higher compared to other hot pot restaurants, they also automatically add a 10% service charge.
Dumplings and wontons are no good.

Service was suboptimal- bill at dinner always surprisingly high. Traffic of customers due to close proximity to T & T - not because of foods!

not bad food, been there twice already. went for hot pot at night. i like the idea of having your own pot so you can get your own soup.

The $1.68 dim sum sounds cheap...but once you taste the food you will think twice about coming to this restaurant. The food is frozen and reheated...not freshly made. The $1.00 per person tea is expensive, especially when they don't come often to fill it up.

Last time, we went for dim sum, the waiting time is long, and there's no many choices and the portion of dim sum is too small compared to the other restaurant. Expensive for charging $1 per person for the tea.

I had dim sum there last time and it was cheap ($1.68/dish). There were a sufficient number of wait staff but it was hard to get someone to serve you. And they've added a lot of MSG to the food.

Agree.... decoration was good... hard hard hard to find a waiter...
The last time I went (last time means no more going back), we saw LOTS of worms / bugs floating on the soup after we finished.... VERY disgusting.... luckily I didn't feel sick afterward.
