i think this place is fantastic... the service isnt that good but hey.. its authentic hakkaaaaaa chinese ya kno wha im sayin... ive been introduced by my gyal friend now were married.. hakka for lyfe

My Family has been going to Frederick's Restaurant for the past 20 years and probably once a month. I think there food is the best tasting food and i recommend it to anyone. I don't think i could live without it. 4 people dinner fills family and you will have left overs for the next days lunch for 2 for about $35. Chilli chicken comes with one small bowl of plain white rice. Needs bigger venue because always busy other then that 10/10 in my books.

NOT NICE SERVICE AT ALL... the food is good, but i mean its so dirty the place that you feel your food might be dirty as well....it is okay but needs to better CUSTOMER SERVICE and CLEANER>>>>

Honestly, I have been about four times, and each time the food was gawdawful. I have to digress from other reviewers on this place. I ate in once and had takeout the other times. While the ambiance in the place is nice, the food tastes terrible.

Excellent food. Chili Chicken is a bit spicy so beware. Haven't tried much of anything else there yet.

EXCELLENT Haka Chinese food - THE best Chicken Pakora in Toronto, great friend rice and spicy dishes, and amazing lunch specials for around $5
I love the sweet & sour shrimp on rice lunch special - tons of smallish breaded fried shrimp in lots of sauce over steamed rice - YUM!
Crappy decor, crappy location, mediocre service, but excellently prepared haka chinese - love it.

Best hakka/chinese restaurant in scarborough. Value/taste is amazing. 2 person sit-in meal under $30.
