Went to Canoe last night. The food was excellent and regarding food quality and atmosphere.
Got a table at the window. Great view. Make sure you ask for this when you arrive.
But our waiter either didn't like us or was having a bad night cuz I sensed serious attitude. Still, we had a great evening. And you can't beat the price for an evening at Canoe. The bill totalled about $114 after tax and tip. Along with the meal, we both had a rum cocktail called D'licious ($7.50 each) which tasted pretty good. So the bill was ($35+$7.50) x 2 =$85 plus tax and tip.
I would consider going back but the prices are pretty hefty during non-licious times.

--tenderloin is the best one out of 3 main course

--salmon is a little bit sweet and tasty, also big portion

Tina¡¯s Ricotta Ravioli with Winter Chard, Tomato Confit & Parmesan Crisp

Caramel Apple Crumb Tart, Cardamom Ice Cream & Eggnog Sabayon
or
Ginger Toffee Pudding, Bourbon Brown Butter Sauce & Candied Ginger Ice Cream
--both desert are not that good
--service and atmosphere is excellent
